Vince McMahon Reportedly Absent From September 6 WWE Raw

The WWE Chairman was absent from this week's show

Vince McMahon was reportedly not at this week's episode of Monday Night Raw.

The WWE CEO and Chairman was absent from the September 6 taping of the red brand, according to PWInsider. No reason has been given for McMahon not being at the show.

With McMahon not physically in attendance, the task of running the taping was given to Bruce Pritchard, the Executive Producer of both Raw and SmackDown. It was also noted that, while McMahon wasn't actually at the taping in Green Bay, Wisconsin, he was heavily involved in giving feedback on plans and making changes for the program.

This week's Raw stuck to the originally advertised matches as a Tag Team Turmoil bout ran through much of the show, while Charlotte Flair also defended the Raw Women's Championship against Nia Jax and Drew McIntyre faced Sheamus in a United States Title Number One Contender bout.

This is in stark contrast to last week's edition of the red brand, with reports indicating that McMahon was 'the loudest and angriest' that the WWE creative team has ever seen him, amid wholesale changes to the August 30 show.
