Vince McMahon's Netflix Documentary Still Planned For 2024 Release

Netflix's Vince McMahon documentary will still come out this year.

The Netflix documentary on Vince McMahon is still set to see the light of day this calendar year, according to a recent report.

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that the plan is to release the documentary sometime in 2024, though no timeframe has been finalised.

There was some speculation that the mooted six-part series would be scrapped due to the lawsuit former WWE employee Janel Grant filed against McMahon, John Laurinaitis and WWE earlier this year, though that is apparently not the case.

Shortly before Grant's lawsuit was filed, Netflix signed a multi-billion-dollar deal with WWE for the rights to Raw, starting in 2025. This was also, apparently, a non-factor when it came to the McMahon documentary, though the direction of it will need to be altered considering all that has happened since production on the documentary started.

Even prior to McMahon's legal issues and resignation from the TKO Board of Directors, the former WWE CEO was to have no say on the final cut of the documentary.

Meltzer added that the plan at one point was for it to be out sooner, but it's not going to be released during WrestleMania season.
