W. Morrissey Receives New AEW In-Ring Name

Say hello to Big Bill

W. Morrissey is no more.

The former Big Cass has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since returning to the company on the August 31 edition of Dynamite but he has hardly done anything since signing full-time with the promotion, only sporadically appearing on TV at ringside for other members of The Firm's matches.

Morrissey is set to make his in-ring return on the December 9 edition of Rampage and All Elite Wrestling have changed the 36-year-old's name to Big Bill ahead of the match. The change became evident in pre-match graphics that list Morrissey as Big Bill alongside his Firm faction-mate Lee Moriarty.

The Rampage match was taped following the live December 7 edition of Dynamite where Big Bill and Moriarty defeated two local competitors.

Prior to signing with AEW, Big Bill was a part of IMPACT Wrestling but he exited the promotion in May. Morrissey had appeared in AEW before signing with the company, losing to Wardlow on the May 4 episode of Dynamite.
