Wardlow Reveals He's Felt Depressed In His Time Off AEW Programming

Wardlow has struggled since being off AEW TV

Wardlow has been absent from AEW programming ever since the first episode of Collision back in June where he lost the TNT Championship, once again, this time to Luchasaurus. Although some fans could argue that a break was much needed for Wardlow’s character, the man himself hasn’t had the best time off TV.

During a panel at Terrifcon 2023, the question was posed about when fans could see him back on AEW Dynamite or Collision, to which he revealed that he was uncertain, and that in his time away he has struggled.

"I do not know when I'll be back, hopefully soon. I've been off TV for almost a couple months and I've been very depressed. Wrestling is my everything that makes me happy. So, today I feel like me again for the first time in months. I just want to say thank you guys for coming out because you guys really flip a switch in my mind, my heart that I needed, so thank you."
