Report: WWE SummerSlam Match Order Revealed

SummerSlam 2023 match lineup

The latest edition of the 'Biggest Party of the Summer' is almost upon us and WWE will present SummerSlam from Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday, August 5.

The Big Four pay-per-view has several headline matches announced for the card, including Roman Reigns vs. Jey Uso in a Tribal Combat Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and the position of Tribal Chief, Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar, GUNTHER vs. Drew McIntyre for the Intercontinental Title, and Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor for the World Heavyweight Championship.

The show reportedly has time constraints which led to the planned match of Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus being pulled from the card. Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez for the Women's World Championship also looks extremely unlikely for the show.

The match order ahead of SummerSlam has been revealed, courtesy of PWInsider. Check out the full lineup below:

  • Logan Paul vs. Ricochet
  • Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar
  • Slim Jim Battle Royal
  • Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler - MMA Rules Match
  • GUNTHER (c) vs. Drew McIntyre - Intercontinental Championship
  • Seth Rollins (c) vs. Finn Balor - World Heavyweight Championship
  • Asuka (c) vs. Bianca Belair vs. Charlotte Flair - Triple Threat Match for the WWE Women's World Championship
