Wardlow Vows To Beat MJF If He Wins AEW World Title

Wardlow refuses to live in a world where MJF is champion. 

Speaking with ESPR, Mr Mayhem vowed to defeat MJF for the AEW World Title if Friedman ever becomes the world champion in All Elite Wrestling. 

"I refuse to have MJF as the champion of my company. So if he ever does weasel his way to getting that title, I will quickly take it off of him," said Wardlow.

Wardlow does have a winning record against MJF and the 34-year-old defeated Friedman at Double or Nothing to free himself of The Salt of the Earth's employment. Wardlow picked up a dominant win in their match, squashing MJF after a very long Powerbomb Symphony. 

MJF will have the opportunity to become AEW World Champion at Full Gear on November 19 when he challenges Jon Moxley for the title. Friedman earned a title shot by winning the Casino Ladder Match upon his return at All Out. 

A babyface turn has been teased for MJF in recent weeks but many expect it to be a ruse that leads to Friedman becoming an even more despicable heel.
