Chris Jericho To Face Mystery Former ROH Champion On AEW Dynamite
Who will be the next former ROH Champion to face Chris Jericho?
Since taking the ROH World Championship from Claudio Castagnoli, Chris Jericho has been on a mission to prove that Jericho brand sports entertainment is better than Ring of Honor wrestling, with ‘The Ocho’ taking on and defeating several former ROH World Champions over the past few weeks in order to destroy ROH's legacy and reputation.
So far Jericho has defeated the likes of Bryan Danielson, Bandido, and Dalton Castle, and on the October 26 edition of AEW Dynamite, Jericho laid out a challenge to ‘any’ former ROH Champion, no matter if they held the ROH World, Tag, TV, PURE, or even Women’s Championship.
There are myriad former ROH Champions currently signed to AEW, with the likes of Christopher Daniels, Jay Lethal, Josh Woods, and The Kingdom part of the company, never mind current ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe, amongst others. There is also the possibility that a freelancer could come in to face Jericho, with the likes of Rhett Titus and Silas Young having come in for one-off matches for AEW.
Jericho will find out who is stepping up to ‘The Wizard’ on AEW Dynamite on November 2.
