Alongside the likes of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes will be one of the headline playable talents in WWE 2K23 when the title is released.

Footage of The American Nightmare being scanned for the video game has already been published and now Cody's entrance in WWE 2K23 has been revealed, with UpUpDownDown watching the reveal with Rhodes.

Cody can be seen making his way out onto the stage to 'Kingdom' by Downstait before he sets off pyro by putting his arms outstretched. Following this, Rhodes continues to hype up the crowd before he finally enters the squared circle.

This will be Cody's first appearance in a WWE video game since WWE 2K17 when he was playable as Stardust. Rhodes is also set to be featured in All Elite Wrestling's first video game, AEW Fight Forever.

WWE 2K23 will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Windows PC on Friday, March 17. The gameplay has been updated, with developers Visual Concepts claiming it is now "more balanced in a realistic way." The major addition to WWE 2K23 is WarGames, with the match type available in three vs. three and four vs. four matches.
