Weather Advisory Issued To Fans At WWE WrestleMania 37

Fans advised to seek shelter on the concourse

Reports of inclement weather in and around Tampa this weekend have many questioning how WrestleMania 37 at Raymond James Stadium is going to play out.

Around 5:30 pm EST, Bleacher Report shared a fan video from the stadium, with dark gray clouds filling the sky. The stadium's PA announcer informed patrons of the possibility of lightning, and asked them to seek shelter for the time being.

The announcement went, in part, "Ladies and gentlemen, may we have your attention please. Please be advised that severe weather, including lightning, is within the immediate vicinity of Raymond James Stadium at this time. We're asking that all fans seek shelter on the covered concourse nearest your seats."

As of this writing, Weather.com's hourly forecast called for significant chance of thunderstorms (between 88 and 100 percent) from 5:45 through 8:00 pm EST. Beginning at 9:00 pm, the likelihood of rain drops to 24 percent.

Scattered thunderstorms are also in the current forecast for Tampa on Sunday evening.

At this time, WWE has not issued any kind of statement in regards to the weather.

UPDATE: Raymond James Stadium's official Twitter account wrote, "All parking lots are temporarily closed due to weather. Please seek shelter in your vehicles until further notice. Stay tuned for stadium updates."

UPDATE 2: Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful tweeted shortly before 6 pm EST that fans can return to their seats
