Wes Lee Banged Up At WWE Main Event Tapings

Wes Lee is believed to be ‘banged up’ after a recent set of WWE Main Event TV tapings.

Lee was in action on December 16, with a report from PWInsider’s Mike Johnson stating that Lee is believed to have hurt his ankle and/or foot, with medical staff set to check on his condition ASAP.

Lee was at the WWE NXT TV tapings on December 17 despite the injury, taping a backstage segment. There’s no update as to his physical condition, nor if he is set to miss any ring time.

Lee’s last televised match came on the December 10 episode of NXT, with Lee suffering a singles loss to Je’Von Evans. Prior to this, Lee came last in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge match at NXT Deadline on December 7.

A former NXT North American Champion, and two-time NXT Tag Team Champion, Lee has been with WWE since 2020, making the switch from TNA/IMPACT Wrestling with MSK partner Nash Carter/Zachary Wentz. Lee returned to TNA in 2024 as part of the promotion’s working relationship with WWE NXT.
