A masked man recently ran roughshod through WWE, attacking members of The Vision en route to Elimination Chamber.
During the men’s Chamber match, Seth Rollins was revealed to be the man under the hood, attacking Logan Paul and facilitating his elimination from the bout. The angle split fan opinion, but a report from Bodyslam+ reveals that WWE saw the storyline as a success.
The angle itself almost seemed cursed, with major injuries befalling The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, however the report states that WWE are pleased with how they navigated such injuries and pitfalls, and feel the angle’s payoff successfully integrated multiple top-tier talents.
Seth Rollins himself is believed to have been very hands on with the story, handpicking his Black & Brave Wrestling Academy graduate Don Furio to act as the ‘decoy’ masked man on WWE TV. Heading into WrestleMania XLII, it is believed that Rollins vs. Breakker is the expected match, but if Breakker isn’t medically cleared in time then it looks like WWE could pivot to Rollins vs. Logan Paul.
Rollins appeared on the March 2 edition of WWE Raw, attacking The Vision’s mouthpiece Paul Heyman with a steel chair.
