The masked man after being unmasked on SmackDown

On this week’s February 27 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, the mysterious masked man once again showed up to take aim at members of The Vision. After previously costing Bron Breakker the Royal Rumble match and attacking both Logan Paul & Austin Theory on Monday Night RAW in previous weeks, this figure arrived on SmackDown to once again try and take down the group… but it didn’t go to plan.

During an Elimination Chamber qualifying match between Logan Paul and Jacob Fatu in the main event of the evening, the masked man made his presence known, only this time he was thwarted. Paul managed to unmask the man to reveal… someone that nobody knows. This individual was presented as a complete mystery and to a confused reaction.

It has now later been revealed by PWInsider that the name of this person is independent wrestler Donovan Izzolena, also known as The Magnificent Don Furio. He has trained at Seth Rollins and Marek Brave’s Brave & Bold Wrestling Academy in Iowa and has also trained under Cody Rhodes & QT Marshall. It is likely that this masked man is revealed to be a decoy. It was revealed this week that WWE were scrambling to rewrite the masked man storyline following on from Bronson Reed’s injury on Monday Night RAW.
