Bronson Reed has suffered a bicep tear, with the Vision heavy hitter ruled out of action on the February 23 edition of WWE RAW.
Reed was competing in a triple threat match against Jey Uso and OG Grande Americano for the final spot in the men’s Elimination Chamber when the injury occurred. As Reed broke up a pinfall attempt, he caught his arm on Americano and immediately rolled to the floor, with referees checking on Reed who subsequently did not return to the match as officials flashed the ‘X’ signal to backstage.
Michael Cole later announced on commentary that Reed had suffered a distal biceps tear, with all three members of the original Vision lineup (Reed, Seth Rollins, and Bron Breakker) all currently ruled out of action with injury.
The injury reportedly caused RAW plans to be changed on the fly, with F4WOnline and WrestleVotes reporting that Reed was originally scheduled to win the bout and the final spot in the men’s Chamber match. After Reed went down with the biceps tear, WWE pivoted and had Jey Uso win the bout instead.
