AJ Styles is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026.

The February 23 edition of RAW in Atlanta, Georgia - Styles’ home state - was a tribute edition to the career of the ‘Phenomenal One’, with many names from Styles’ past in TNA, NJPW, and WWE all present to pay their respects to Styles.

As AJ officially lay his gloves and gear down in the ring, The Undertaker appeared to inform Styles he will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, with Styles the second name announced for the ceremony after that of Stephanie McMahon.

A report from F4WOnline’s Bryan Alvarez states that the announcement was a genuine surprise to Styles who looked a little apprehensive when ‘Taker took the mic, Styles having faced The Undertaker in ‘The Deadman’s final ever match at WrestleMania 36.

After losing to GUNTHER at the 2026 Royal Rumble event, Styles refrained from laying his gloves in the ring, prompting speculation that he could be set to wrestle outside of WWE, WWE going at lengths to say the loss to GUNTHER prompted the end of Styles ‘WWE career’ rather than the out-and-out ending of his career as a whole. With the announcement on Monday, it now looks like Styles is officially done.
