WWE are likely to be forced into major changes to their current masked man storyline due to Bronson Reed's recent injury.

Reed sustained a torn biceps on the February 23 episode of Monday Night Raw during his Triple Threat Elimination Chamber qualifier against Jey Uso and the Original El Grande Americano, having suffered the injury while breaking up a pin.

The injury immediately forced changes to be made to Raw and the Elimination Chamber as Reed was originally scheduled to win the match and advance to the men's Elimination Chamber match. WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has also noted that the masked man and Logan Paul were originally slated to be involved in the finish to the Raw match, but those plans were changed due to Reed's injury. As a direct consequence of the injury, WrestleVotes noted the masked man angle will likely receive heavy rewrites within the company.

WWE's latest masked man angle kicked off at Royal Rumble 2026 when Bron Breakker was laid out while making his way to the ring as the #2 entrant in the men's Royal Rumble match. The masked man has continued to combat The Vision on Raw since the January pay-per-view, with the belief being the original plan for the angle was to set up Seth Rollins vs. Bron Breakker at WrestleMania 42, but those plans were thrown up in the air after Breakker underwent surgery to repair a hernia.

What changes WWE are planning to make to the masked man angle following Bronson Reed's injury is currently unknown.
