When Shotzi's WWE Contract Expires Revealed

Along with the list of talent that were released on May 2, it was subsequently revealed that WWE star Shotzi's contract will not be renewed when it expires.

In a (now deleted) post on X, Shotzi noted that she still has time left on her deal, writing:

"Just to clarify, I still have a good amount of time on my contract. But come July I will be full time balls to the walls!".

In another post, she wrote, "I am about to dominate! Lets get busy!" alongside an email address used for booking purposes.

The 33-year-old's last televised NXT appearance came on January 28, where she fell to Fallon Henley in a bout for the NXT Women's North American Title.

Reports around that time suggested that Shotzi was expected to return to WWE's main roster soon after. She was originally scheduled to compete in the 2025 women's Royal Rumble match, but was replaced by the returning Alexa Bliss.

Shotzi is said to be very motivated for the future and had prepared for her release by filming a promo she posted to social media.
