Seth Rollins has named his ideal winner of the WWE men’s Elimination Chamber match
WWE Elimination Chamber: Perth is set for February 24, with the winner of the men’s Elimination Chamber match set to face World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at WrestleMania XL in April.
Rollins certainly has a preferred opponent in mind for Mania - after CM Punk was ruled out due to a triceps tear - and during a appearance on the Nathan, Nat, and Shaun podcast, Rollins named his pick for the Chamber match:
“I want to face Randy. I owe him one. We had a WrestleMania match many moons ago. WrestleMania 31. Nine years later, we’re both in different places in our careers. Seth Rollins vs. Randy Orton on the marquee sounds beautiful,” said Rollins.
Orton will be in action against Bobby Lashley, LA Knight, Logan Paul, Kevin Owens, and Drew McIntyre for a shot at Rollins, with many picking McIntyre to outlast his five opponents and book his spot at mania.
Rollins and Orton last faced off in singles competition on the February 14, 2022 edition of WWE Raw, with their last singles premium live event clash coming inside a steel cage at Extreme Rules 2015.
