Who WWE Is Discussing To Be IYO SKY's Opponent At WWE Evolution II Revealed

WWE are reportedly discussing a major match involving Women's World Champion IYO SKY for Evolution II.

According to BodySlam.net, there have been talks backstage about Rhea Ripley challenging IYO for the title at the all-female premium live event.

The report added that while nothing is officially locked in as yet, the match is very much on the table at present.

SKY has held the Women's World Title since defeating Ripley for it on the March 3 edition of Raw. IYO defended the title against Rhea and Bianca Belair in a show stealing triple threat match on night two of WrestleMania 41, her most recent defense at time of writing.

While she hasn't wrestled on a PLE since, WWE hold IYO SKY in high regard. She was due to wrestle Liv Morgan at Night of Champions until Morgan suffered a shoulder injury that will put her on the shelf for several months.

Liv's injury reportedly led to WWE ripping up their original plans for Evolution II, with several storylines being affected by it.
