Paul 'Triple H' Levesque has poured cold water on the idea of him ever having another professional wrestling match.
The Game retired in 2022 after suffering a cardiac event in September 2021. Levesque underwent emergency heart surgery and was fitted with a defibrillator, prohibiting him from wrestling again.
On the Night of Champions 2025 post-show, the 55-year-old responded to fans chanting for 'one more match' by saying:
"You can chant that all you want, there ain't one more match in this. You know how they say, 'if it's the last thing I do?'. It would be the last thing I do".
Levesque has previously spoken about how he could have died due to his heart issues. He had spoken to Vince McMahon about performing at WrestleMania 38 prior to suffering his cardiac event.
Triple H was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame earlier this year.
These days, Levesque is plenty busy overseeing WWE creative as the company's Chief Content Officer. His last match took place at a non-televised live event in Tokyo, Japan in June 2019.
