After departing TNA Wrestling in late 2024, reports stated that ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey had signed a deal with All Elite Wrestling, however the former X-Division Champion has yet to appear for the promotion.
Reports in November 2024 suggested that Speedball was set to debut in the Continental Classic Tournament, but several months later there is still no sign of them. A report from Fightful Select suggests that Bailey is working on getting a work visa sorted, with the Montreal, Quebec, Canada native needing one in able to legally perform in the United States without issue.
At the time of their departure from TNA, Bailey was regarded as one of the best performers in the promotion, with 2023 especially seeing many peg Bailey as one of the best wrestlers in the world. A three-time TNA X-Division Champion, Bailey also won the prestigious Battle of Los Angeles 2023 tournament in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla.
Since departing TNA, Bailey has worked across the North American independent scene, splitting their time between GCW, DEFY, and Pro Wrestling REVOLVER amongst others.
