The special Grand Slam Australia episode of AEW Collision on Saturday, February 15 averaged 502,000 viewers on TNT, drawing the best total viewership for Collision since December 21, 2024. Grand Slam Australia averaged a 0.21 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, which was Collision's best demo number since July 29, 2023.

Grand Slam Australia aired outside of its regular 8 pm ET time slot but the show benefited greatly by following TNT's coverage of the NBA All-Star Weekend, with the opening match of Kenny Omega & Will Ospreay vs. Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher averaging over one million viewers. Viewership declined as Grand Slam Australia remained on the air past midnight.

Fightful Select has reported that AEW CEO Tony Khan and others within the promotion were "very happy" with the ratings for Grand Slam Australia, the lead-in for the show, and the positive buzz which surrounded Grand Slam Australia over the weekend. Khan was said to be a big proponent in AEW utilising the lead-in from the NBA All-Star Weekend.

Warner Bros. Discovery noted to Fightful that there will likely be more instances of AEW Collision being pre-empted but receiving a strong lead-in if both sides believe their partnership will benefit.
