Will Ospreay Provides An Update On His Future

Will Ospreay isn't ruling out signing with IMPACT

The future of Will Ospreay is currently up in the air with the Aerial Assassin revealing that his contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling is coming up in February of next year - just four months away. Ospreay previously revealed he was looking at multiple options, not ruling out the likes of AEW as a future home, with him appearing sporadically in the company as a special attraction over the years.

Ospreay has provided an update on his current situation, speaking in an interview to Sports Illustrated about potential future homes such as IMPACT Wrestling.

“The deal is up in February, and we’re still in negotiations. I’m looking to explore every single option and every single avenue. Impact Wrestling is in the running for my next home. I’m willing to test the waters. So this match against Mike Bailey is a real treat for me, and I’m excited to do it, especially with what could happen next year.”

Ospreay is set to take on Mike Bailey at the Bound For Glory event, and then he is following this up with matches at IMPACT’s tapings and at next week’s Turning Point show.
