TNA Wrestling sent a mega offer to Will Ospreay
Will Ospreay is ‘All Elite’ and will officially join All Elite Wrestling full time following the conclusion of his New Japan deal in January 2024.
Before signing with AEW, Ospreay found himself as the hottest commodity on the market, with WWE and IMPACT/TNA also scouting the ‘Aerial Assassin’.
Ospreay wrestled several matches for IMPACT in late 2023, and spoke glowingly of the organisation. A new report from PWInsider states that TNA were serious in their courting of Ospreay, with it reported that TNA had offered a ‘fantastic, massive offer’ to the former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion.
A source told PWInsider that the deal was a ‘seven figure level offer’, with many talents within IMPACT assuming Ospreay was ready to actually ‘cross the line’ due to how much fun Ospreay had during his time in the company, especially as he cut a promo saying how he’d like to wrestle in a TNA ring.
Alas, Ospreay will be plying his trade in an AEW ring heading forward, and unless AEW and TNA mend their relationship then the chances of Ospreay wrestling in a TNA ring are unlikely for now.
