Last Sunday, AEW's Will Ospreay spoke at the post-show media scrum following Revolution. The former New Japan star recently began life as a full-time AEW wrestler, and defeated Don Callis Family stablemate Konosuke Takeshita at Sunday's pay-per-view. He also shared his thoughts on the Tiger Driver '91, which he was able to hit on Takeshita in the closing stretch of the bout. Ospreay stated:
"I can't do those type of matches without a great partner to do it with. Takeshita is every bit as good as Will Ospreay - but on the night I was just better, pure and simple. But look at the move that I had to put him away with; the Tiger Driver.
"I keep saying this so much: the Tiger Driver '91 is the most dangerous move in wrestling. It was used back in the day by Mitsuharu Misawa. It is one of the most dangerous moves in wrestling. Some guys were able to kind of figure out a way of getting out of it, but it's complete pressure on your neck, man. It's a sheer drop. I won't be surprised if in five months time people will be like 'Hey, you can't do that move anymore.'"
Ospreay's first use of the move in AEW occurred at last year's Forbidden Door pay-per-view, where it made for a scary moment in his victory over Kenny Omega. Kenny later gave his thoughts on the manoeuvre, stating "I would never do something I didn't trust myself in performing, 100%."
The Brit's next AEW match has already been confirmed; he's set to face another stablemate, Kyle Fletcher, on this week's episode of Dynamite.
