William Regal Bids Farewell To Blackpool Combat Club

William Regal has left the building

After the news that William Regal was looking to leave AEW to return to WWE, the cowardly attack from MJF on AEW Dynamite, and subsequent ‘pre-recorded’ final piece of advice to the Blackpool Combat Club, William Regal has formally bid farewell to the BCC.

Taking to Twitter, Regal posted a picture of himself, Wheeler Yuta, Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, and Claudio Castagnoli paying homage to British 80s ska band Madness with the following message:

"To the members of the BCC. My favourite song by my favourite band who somehow knew when I was a child to write the story that is my life. It’s been a pleasure fellas. We'll meet again….."

Regal then linked to the song ‘Far Far Away’ by 70s UK glam rockers Slade.

Regal joined AEW at Revolution in March 2022, splitting up a post-match fight between Moxley and Danielson. The trio were soon joined by Wheeler Yuta, with Claudio Castagnoli joining the Blackpool Combat Club at Forbidden Door in June after defeating Zack Sabre Jr.
