A huge Winner Takes All Match has been scheduled for the June 26th Forbidden Door pay-per-view between All Elite Wrestling and NJPW in Chicago, Illinois.

It was announced during the June 17 episode of AEW Rampage that ROH World Tag Team Champions FTR will square off with IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Jeff Cobb and Great-O-Khan, and Roppongi Vice (Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero). The winners will walk away with both the ROH World Tag Team Titles and the IWGP belts.

A Winner Takes All Match was first teased on the May 25 episode of Dynamite when Cobb and Great-O-Khan laid out both FTR and Roppongi Vice during their ROH World Tag Team Championship match, causing it to end in a Double DQ. Cobb and Great-O-Khan weren't IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions at the time but they regained the gold with a win over Bad Luck Fale and Chase Owens at Dominion on June 12.

Following that match, Rocky Romero tried to attack the new champions but he was quickly overpowered by Cobb and O-Khan.

Several matches have already been set for Forbidden Door, including Will Ospreay vs. Orange Cassidy for the IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship, Thunder Rosa vs. Toni Storm for the AEW Women's World Title, and Jon Moxley vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi for the Interim AEW World Title.
