ROH Final Battle set to feature a Women’s World Championship match
We are a little over two weeks away from Final Battle, Ring of Honor’s final major show of the year, and we now know who will be challenging for the ROH Women’s World Championship on the show.
After months under the learning tree of Champ Athena, Billie Starkz reached the end of her tether on the November 30 episode of ROH TV, turning on her teacher after one humiliation too many.
Starkz had defeated Marina Shafir earlier in the show, and the ‘Minion in Training’ waited with glee as she and Lexy Nair prepared for the ‘Minion in Training Awards 2023’, only for Athena to embarrass Starkz during the ceremony. Starkz then beat down Athena and lifted up the title, with the match made official shortly after.
