WrestleMania 37 Gains Three New Matches, One Amended Match

The blue brand loads up their half of the card

SmackDown's half of WrestleMania is coming together, with the addition of three new matches, as well as an expected change to existing match.

As prior reports have indicated, Daniel Bryan will now be taking part in the Universal title match, facing champion Roman Reigns and 2021 men's Royal Rumble winner Edge in a triple threat match.

The match came together when Bryan suggested to Adam Pearce the idea of doing Reigns vs. Edge on night one, and then he challenges the winner on night two. Both Edge and Reigns took issue with the idea of possibly wrestling twice, so Pearce announced a "compromise", adding Bryan to the existing match.

Also announced for WrestleMania is an Intercontinental title match, pitting Big E against his Fastlane opponent, Apollo Crews. The match was announced by Michael Cole and Corey Graves during a six man tag involving both men, which ended when Crews pinned Big E.

Seth Rollins has challenged Cesaro to a one on one match for WrestleMania. Rollins defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in a Fastlane rematch on Friday night, and while he beat him down afterwards, Cesaro made the save. He attempted the Cesaro Swing on Rollins, who managed to escape. Furious at Cesaro's attempt at embarrassing him again, Rollins issued the challenge for WrestleMania.

Additionally, Kevin Owens will go one on one with Sami Zayn. The challenge was formally issued by Owens while Zayn guested on his KO Show on Friday night.

The current card for WrestleMania 37, taking place Saturday, April 10, and Sunday, April 11 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, is as follows:
