WWE WrestleMania 37 Might Have To Be Moved From Los Angeles, California

The golden state could miss out...

WrestleMania 36 was broadcast over two nights on April 4 and April 5 from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The show was originally scheduled to take place in front of 70,000 people at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida but the coronavirus pandemic forced the company to broadcast The Show Of Shows from behind closed doors.

Now, WrestleMania 37 is already in jeopardy. Next year's edition of The Showcase Of The Immortals is set to emanate from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California but the Los Angeles Times reviewed an email from within the Los Angeles Fire Department which stated that LA Mayor Eric Garcetti told local government and emergency services that "large gatherings such as concerts and sporting events may not be approved in the city for at least 1 year."

The email has since been confirmed as a genuine representation of Garcetti's words by Alex Comisar, a spokesperson for the LA Mayor. They told the newspaper: "the mayor was generally referencing studies of current and historical data and best practices for safely reopening our economy."
