WWE 2K23 Release Date Set For March 17

WWE 2K23 coming out later this year!

WWE and 2K have officially announced that the next instalment of the WWE video game franchise will be WWE 2K23, with the title set to be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC on Friday, March 17.

The Deluxe and Icon editions of WWE 2K23 will earn fans early access from Tuesday, March 14. The Standard and Cross-Gen editions will then be released on March 17.

In celebration of his 20th anniversary as a WWE talent, John Cena will be the cover star of WWE 2K23 and the centrepiece of 2K Showcase in a mode that will span the length of Cena's 20-year career. Players will control several of Cena's toughest opponents and look to defeat the 16-time world champion.

In a major announcement, WarGames will be part of a WWE video game for the first time. Players will be able to have 3 vs. 3 or 4 vs. 4 matches in both single-player and multiplayer modes. Furthermore, improvements have been made to MyGM, MyFACTION, MyRISE, and Universe.

In gameplay changes, players will have access to a new optional pinning mechanic. Fans who pre-order WWE 2K23 will receive Bad Bunny as a bonus.
