WWE & Eddie Dennis Part Ways

Eddie Dennis no longer with WWE

Eddie Dennis wasn't retired from professional wrestling for very long.

The former PROGRESS World Champion announced back in March 2023 that he was retiring from in-ring competition, leaving his boots in the middle of the ring following the RevPro Revolution Rumble. It was revealed soon after that Dennis had signed with WWE as a producer and writer for NXT, rejoining the company only days after his in-ring retirement.

Dennis' second run in WWE was short-lived, though, and the former school headteacher has since announced that he and WWE have parted ways.

"Eddie Dennis has come to terms with the release of WWE. He wishes them well on their future endeavours……." Dennis tweeted.

Dennis will make his official in-ring return on December 9 at Pro Wrestling Chaos Heir to the Throne. The event will take place at the Kings Oak Academy in Kingswood, England, a town three miles east of Bristol.

Dennis has also released new merchandise and poked fun at his return, changing his X bio to "Another UnRetired Independent professional wrestler."
