Eddie Dennis Re-Signs With WWE

Eddie Dennis is back with WWE

Former NXT UK star Eddie Dennis has re-signed with WWE.

It was revealed in a post on WWE's LinkedIn page to congratulate their Q1 2023 hires that Dennis had re-signed with WWE as a writer and producer on NXT. Dennis seemingly rejoined WWE only days after he retired from pro wrestling.

Dennis announced after his involvement in RevPro's Revolution Rumble on Sunday, March 26 that he was retiring from professional wrestling. Dennis confirmed his retirement by leaving his boots in the middle of the ring.

Dennis was a key figure in NXT UK during the brand's existence. He was let go by WWE in August 2022 after the company shuttered NXT UK ahead of the still-planned launch of NXT Europe. Dennis also reigned as PROGRESS World Champion while he was signed to WWE, holding the belt from September 2019 until January 2020.

Prior to becoming a full-time pro wrestler in 2017, Dennis was a private school headteacher and taught maths at Berkshire's LVS Ascot.
