WWE Announce Storyline Injury Suffered By Madcap Moss

Madcap Moss is going to be 'out' with an injury for some time

WWE have announced a storyline injury suffered by Madcap Moss.

During Friday's episode of SmackDown, Moss was interviewed by Kayla Braxton in the ring. During the segment, Happy Corbin attacked this year's Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royale winner with the ARMBR trophy - smashing it down on a chair that was wrapped around Madcap's neck.

Madcap Moss is going to be out "indefinitely" after suffering a "cervical contusion." A quick Google search indicates this type of injury can take anywhere between six months and a year to recover from, so it's going to be interesting to see how WWE handle it on television.

The injury angle brought to an end a really hot streak for Madcap. After capturing the ARMBR on WrestleMania SmackDown, he went on to defeat both Humberto and Angel on consecutive blue brand shows.

Madcap then toppled Happy Corbin at WrestleMania Backlash last Sunday.
