WWE Announces 'Campus Rush' College Recruitment Tour

WWE embark on their Campus Rush tour

As part of their next step in recruiting college athletes, WWE embarked on their 'Campus Rush' tour today that will see the organisation visit NCAA Division 1 universities from October 12 until December 7.

Big E, Bianca Belair, Omos, Madcap Moss, and Raquel Rodriguez, who have all transitioned from college to WWE, will address athletes at each tour stop and tell them about working for the company. Students will learn about the WWE NIL programme before athletes face off as they try to cut the best WWE promo.

Universities WWE will visit include Georgia Tech, Clemson, Boise State, University of Arkansas, Ohio State, Penn State, University of Kansas, and University of Mississippi.

"WWE Campus Rush will serve as a core pillar in our commitment to finding the next generation of WWE Superstars among today's elite college athletes. The talent pipeline from college sports to WWE has proven to be effective, as evidenced by current champions Roman Reigns and Bianca Belair, and we are looking forward to visiting major college campuses around the country to introduce ourselves in a new way," said James Kimball, WWE's Head of Talent Operations and Strategy.

WWE transitioned to recruiting more college athletes in 2021 through their NIL programme and tryouts. WWE have signed close to 50 athletes from tryouts and three NIL athletes have joined WWE full-time after graduating.
