WWE Announces Giovanni Vinci Injury
Latest on Giovanni Vinci and his absence from WWE Raw
Giovanni Vinci's absence from Monday Night Raw looks set to continue.
The Imperium member has not appeared on WWE's flagship show since he was laid out by Matt Riddle on the June 5 edition of Raw, being trapped in an Ankle Lock by the Original Bro. Vinci then appeared on Raw Talk with the aid of crutches one hour later.
Imperium has operated as a two-man unit during Vinci's absence. GUNTHER and Ludwig Kaiser unsuccessfully challenged Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships on last week's edition of Raw. On June 19, Ludwig Kaiser lost to Matt Riddle in singles action before GUNTHER attacked the former United States Champion.
It was noted on Monday's Raw that Giovanni Vinci is out of action with a lower-body injury and there was no timetable given for his return. Reports noted last week that Vinci was not legitimately injured and his absence was just related to the storyline.
Vinci has been on the main roster with Kaiser and GUNTHER since Clash at the Castle in September 2022.
