WWE Announces NXT Roadblock, 3 Matches Set For The Show

Roadblock returns

Before NXT Stand & Deliver, WWE's developmental brand will hold a TV special.

WWE announced during Tuesday's episode of NXT that a special 'Roadblock' episode will air on March 8.

Three matches have already been booked for the show, including an NXT Championship match between Bron Breakker, Dolph Ziggler and Tommaso Ciampa.

Ziggler was already the number one contender for Breakker's Title but Ciampa was added to the contest after he pinned The Show Off in The Blackheart and Breakker's match against The Dirty Dawgs on Tuesday.

Winners of the 2022 Men's Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic The Creed Brothers will also challenge Imperium for the NXT Tag Team Championship next week.

LA Knight's feud with Grayson Waller is set to continue too and they will face off in a Last Man Standing Match. Knight initially defeated Waller all the way back in October of 2021 but Waller won their rematch on February 22.

WWE previously held two Roadblock events in 2016, first as a WWE Network special before WrestleMania 32 and then as Raw's December pay-per-view.
