WWE Announces Sheamus Injury, Pulled From Last Time Is Now Tournament

There is an unfortunate occurrence in the Last Time Is Now tournament to determine John Cena’s final ever opponent at next month’s Saturday Night’s Main Event, as Sheamus has been officially removed from the field on medical grounds. 

WWE took to social media to announce that Sheamus was no longer medically cleared to compete in the Last Time Is Now tournament due to a shoulder injury, though there were no specifics given to the extent of his problem and how long he will be expected to be out of the ring. Sheamus recently competed on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, teaming up with John Cena and Rey Mysterio to take on The Judgment Day in what was Cena’s final RAW match. On the back of this RAW, reports emerged of Cena & Sheamus both being a fan of a certain NXT star.
