Last night, it emerged that multiple people in WWE had tested positive for COVID-19. Ryan Satin at Pro Wrestling Sheet first reported at least three people, including in-ring talent, had tested positive for the virus, but Mike Johnson at PWInsider noted the actual number of positive tests could be closer to "two dozen."
WWE backstage interviewer Kayla Braxton announced earlier today that she tested positive for coronavirus this week. She also revealed this is the second time she has contracted the virus during the ongoing global pandemic.
Kayla tweeted: "Was keeping it quiet but since everyone else is sharing, I feel like it is my responsibility to share this PSA: YOU CAN GET COVID-19 MORE THAN ONCE! I had it back in early March and then thought I was invincible after I recovered. Not true. Dont be dumb like me."
This comes after WWE producer Adam Pearce and former WWE Backstage host Renee Young revealed they had contracted COVID-19.
The five-time NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion tweeted: "Covid was NOT on my birthday list."
Renee wrote: "Man. What a few days. My show gets cancelled and I get Covid. Wear your masks and wash your hands. Stay safe, everyone."
