Ever since their move to The CW network, NXT has taken some of its weekly shows on the road. Since October 1, WWE’s developmental brand has appeared at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois and The Factory At The District in Chesterfield, Missouri, in addition to hosting shows back in the Orlando-based Performance Center.

It looks as though NXT will be heading to Philadelphia next month to an iconic location.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has booked the 2300 Arena, the former home of ECW and dubbed as the “ECW Arena”, for a show which is believed to be on November 6. This is on a Wednesday, the night after the US election, meaning that NXT will not only be on a different night, but it will also be going up against AEW Dynamite. It is noted that the idea might be to run a show here to generate buzz and try to beat AEW in ratings.

NXT’s next trip on the road is for the Halloween Havoc 2024 event, taking place at the GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Three title matches have been announced for this show thus far.
