WWE Close To Deal With Indiana Sports Corp For Royal Rumble 2025

WWE Royal Rumble 2025 potentially set for Indiana

WWE’s main premium live events are big business for all involved, especially with the bigger stadium shows put on by WWE each year.

WrestleMania and SummerSlam have become stadium extravaganzas in recent years, as has the Royal Rumble, with WWE able to run 40,000+ venues for the event since the 2019 edition. WWE are currently in negotiations with interested parties who would like to hold the 2025 Royal Rumble, with a report from WrestleVotes stating that Indiana’s Lucas Oil Stadium is the current frontrunner for the show.

The report suggests that WWE and the Indiana Sports Corp are in discussions over a multi-event deal, with the Royal Rumble potentially set for the state on February 1, 2025, with it believed that a deal would also guarantee a future WrestleMania and SummerSlam event to also take place in the state.

Lucas Oil Stadium is home to the Indiana Colts of the NFL, and hosted Super Bowl XLVI in 2012. With a capacity of around 70,000 it certainly has the space to host one of WWE’s major shows, with the retractable roof making it perfect for the Royal Rumble.
