WWE Considering Change To Raw

Change to WWE Raw under consideration

WWE are considering making a change to Monday Night Raw.

WWE have held more and more pay-per-views outside of North America in recent years, with the company primarily keeping the Big Five shows of WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, Money in the Bank, SummerSlam, and Survivor Series in the United States or Canada. WWE have looked to hold as many of their other 'premium live events' internationally and in 2024 alone, WWE have held shows in Australia, France, Saudi Arabia, and Scotland.

WWE's plans for international events has seen the company race back to North America for the post-PPV edition of Monday Night Raw. WWE are considering moving away from their current strategy, however, with PW Nexus reporting that WWE have discussed taping Raw on a Sunday following an international pay-per-view. The plan has not been approved within WWE, only discussed at this point.

The idea behind changing how Raw is taped would be to give talent more time to recover from the international show instead of having wrestlers rush back to North America for TV tapings.

WWE's next international pay-per-view will be later this month when Bash in Berlin emanates from the Uber Arena in Germany's capital city. Gunther is scheduled to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton at the pay-per-view.
