WWE COVID Updates, Including On Those Who Missed Tapings

Amid several personalities testing positive...

Several WWE personalities have publicly admitted to testing positive for the coronavirus, and reports indicate that a great number more could be affected.

Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that Tyson Kidd and Natalya were both sent home from this weekend's TV tapings as a precautionary measure. Kidd, who works as a backstage producer, arrived at the Performance Center on Thursday with a fever. Though neither he nor his wife tested positive for the virus, they were still asked to sit out the tapings.

One of those who admitted to testing positive is fellow producer Adam Pearce. According to Meltzer's report, there is internal concern over Pearce's positive test, as he works closely with both Vince McMahon and Bruce Prichard, who are 74 and 57 years old, respectively.

The report goes on to say that 71-year-old Ric Flair, who was present at last week's tapings, has not shown any health issues at the time of the report. In addition to his advanced age, Flair has gone through several serious health problems in recent years, mostly pertaining to his heart.
