Report: Baron Corbin Unhappy With Planned Matt Riddle Feud

Apparently he only recently learned of the plan...

Upon Matt Riddle's arrival on WWE SmackDown earlier this month, the "King of Bros" defeated Intercontinental champion AJ Styles in a non-title bout. Despite that victory, it seems that Riddle's first regular rivalry will be with a different veteran heel.

According to a report from Gary Cassidy of Sportskeeda, Baron Corbin is being positioned as the first rival of Riddle's, and the "King" is reportedly not happy about being Riddle's first long-term opponent. According to the report, Corbin feels that Riddle should have to go through several enhancement talents before getting into a storyline feud with himself.

The report also indicates that Riddle vs. Corbin was apparently the plan for some time, and Corbin only recently found out about it.

Riddle aided in beating Corbin down on Friday night's edition of SmackDown, following Corbin's loss to Jeff Hardy.

The two stars have clashed before on major pay-per-views. Corbin eliminated Riddle from the men's 5 on 5 on 5 Survivor Series bout in November, and later threw Riddle out of this year's men's Royal Rumble match.
