WWE Decides Not To Sign Viral Sensation From SummerSlam Tryouts

WWE don't sign viral sensation from their recent tryouts

WWE held tryouts in Cleveland, Ohio ahead of SummerSlam and a whole host of athletes looked to earn a WWE contract in front of the likes of Shawn Michaels and CM Punk.

An X (FKA Twitter) profile on each of the tryout participants saw Sofia Iaderosa go viral, with her profile generating 3.2 million impressions on the social media platform. Iaderosa won't be popping up on WWE TV in the near future, however, and the football/soccer player revealed she hasn't been offered a deal by WWE.

"Appreciate the love from all you @WWE @WWENXT @ShawnMichaels @WWERecruit fans since the tryout! Unfortunate to not have made it but hoping to see you guys in the future! :)" Iaderosa tweeted.

The Canadian-born Iaderosa currently plays for Ataşehir Belediyespor in Turkey's top division. She previously played for Birkirkara in Malta which saw her compete in the UEFA Women's Champions League when she was just 18 years old.

There is no word on if WWE signed any talents following the SummerSlam tryouts. Other notable participants included Elijah Holyfield, the son of Evander Holyfield, and Atrilleon Williams.
