WWE Didn't Want Talent To Tweet About Netflix Streaming Issues
Netflix suffered some streaming issues during the Jake Paul/Mike Tyson fight

WWE is headed to Netflix in the new year, with the streaming service becoming the new home of Monday Night RAW for those in the states on January 6, and as officially revealed this past week, the home of all live WWE shows for those in the UK and Europe, in addition to select historic PPVs. There were however some questions asked over Netflix’s capability of live streaming WWE’s shows due to several issues cropping up during the Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight.
Netflix users reported an unavailable stream, persistent buffering, and a low video quality, though it was reported that WWE were unfazed by this given that the viewership for their programming will not touch that of the Paul/Tyson fight, and were assured by Netflix that it wouldn’t be an issue. Even though WWE were not too fussed by the problems, they still did not want their talent commenting on it.
According to Bryan Alvarez in Figure Four Weekly, WWE did not want any talent tweeting about the buffering issues. WWE’s current home of Peacock did take a shot at Netflix’s streaming issues, which might not have been ideal for WWE, leading to them being unwilling for their wrestlers to make further comment. There were several WWE personalities present such as Big E, Trish Stratus, and Lita.
