WWE Digitally Removes Sasha Banks Sign From SmackDown Images

That Sasha Banks sign didn't exist if you're WWE

WWE really did not want to bring any attention to Sasha Banks on the June 17 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

A fan near ringside could be seen throughout the show from Minneapolis, Minnesota, holding up a 'Sasha Krew 4 Life' sign and while the sign would pop up during Friday's broadcast, WWE have taken measures not to showcase the sign since the episode went off the air.

Within the company's image gallery of SmackDown, a photo of Raquel Rodriquez following a win over Shayna Baszler (which can be seen above) reveals that WWE have digitally removed the 'Sasha Krew 4 Life' sign, leaving behind just a glaringly white board.

The Banks sign being removed from the SmackDown image gallery comes at a time when The Boss' future with the company is uncertain. Both Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. and WrestleVotes have reported that Banks has been released by WWE, while Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful stated that WWE talent at SmackDown believe she is finished with the company. Dave Meltzer and Andrew Zarian also noted that Banks' lawyers were working on her release. There has been no official confirmation of the former SmackDown Women's Champion's departure from WWE, however.

Banks and tag team partner Naomi walked out of Monday Night Raw back on May 16 over a creative dispute. WWE then indefinitely suspended the two performers and stripped them of the Women's Tag Team Championships.
