WWE Discussing Crown Jewel 2026 After US Travel Advisory For Saudi Arabia Changes

WWE Crown Jewel 2026 is still officially scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but the event has been a topic of discussion within WWE since the United States Department of State revised their travel advisory for Saudi Arabia.

That is according to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, who also reported that regardless of the location, Crown Jewel is still expected to be held on Saturday, November 7, as WWE have committed to that date with ESPN.

The show will also still be built around Champion vs. Champion matches for the WWE Crown Jewel titles that only appear for one night. As it stands, those matches will be Sami Zayn vs. Roman Reigns and Stephanie Vaquer vs. Chelsea Green.

The US embassy and consulates in Saudi Arabia's current travel advisory for the country is to reconsider travel due to "risk of Iranian drone and missile targeting of American interests, armed conflict, terrorism, exit bans, and local laws regarding social media activity. Some areas have increased risk."

WWE have held a number of events in Saudi Arabia since the company started working with the Saudi Arabia General Entertainment Authority in 2018, with WrestleMania 43 scheduled to take place in Riyadh in April 2027. Night of Champions also emanated from Saudi Arabia earlier this year in June.

The United States-Iran war began in February 2026 and there have been renewed hostilities in recent weeks.
