WWE Draft Rules, Superstar Pools Revealed

With the latest WWE Draft just around the corner, Ryan Satin of FOX Sports has revealed the rules and Superstar pools for the upcoming shake-up. The draft is scheduled to begin on tonight's episode of Friday Night SmackDown and will conclude on Monday's Raw. Stephanie McMahon will once again preside over both brands' picks. 

Over 60 Superstars and tag teams will be available in this year's draft and have been separated into two Superstar pools. 25 wrestlers and tag teams will be available to draft on Friday while the rest of the talent will become available on Monday. 

We may well see the world championships switch brands as both Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre have been added to Friday's pool. The likes of "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt, Asuka, Sasha Banks, Randy Orton, Keith Lee and all six members of RETRIBUTION are also available across both days.

Similar to past years, Raw will receive three picks for every two picks SmackDown has. Tag teams will count as one pick unless FOX or USA Network want to draft just one Superstar from a team. Undrafted Superstars will automatically become free agents and they can field offers from across the company.  

Satin noted executives at FOX and USA Network have been collaborating with WWE over the past few weeks over which Superstars they want on Raw and SmackDown.
