WWE Expected To Announce New Raw TV Deal Soon

New WWE Raw TV deal on the way

The future of Monday Night Raw will be revealed in the near future.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the new media rights deal for Monday Night Raw in the United States is "expected to be announced soon." There is no word on what the new home of Raw will be beyond that the show is not expected to remain on USA Network, which has been the home of the series since 2005.

Meltzer's comments were in response to a WrestleWorld report which has claimed Raw's next US TV deal is expected to be announced before January 2024. The top three bidders, according to WrestleWorld, are Warner Bros. Discovery, Disney, and Amazon. NBCUniversal are said to be a distant fourth bidder.

The current media rights deal for Monday Night Raw expires in October 2024. Deals have already been agreed for SmackDown to move to USA on a five-year deal worth $279 million per year and for NXT to head to The CW. The NXT deal was a 70 percent increase on the Tuesday night show's current arrangement with USA that brings in $15 million per year.
