Chad Gable in a mask

Someone who may or may not have been Chad Gable in a mask appeared on this past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, attacking Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee of the Latino World Order. Gable has been on a mission to find a secret to unlock a power to defeat luchadors in WWE, travelling all the way to Mexico to be handed a box, which many assumed contained a mask.

However, Gable denied any involvement during a backstage interview, all the while the said “masked man” was being escorted out the arena by security, with the mystery continuing. In what may be related to this new masked gimmick, WWE have filed a new trademark for ‘Grande Americano.’

“Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.”

It remained to be seen if this trademark will in fact be for Gable (or not Gable). It was reported that Gable was set to travel to work in AAA, but these plans fell through.
